The Ivy Sports Symposium is one of the global sports industry’s premier conference and rotates being held among Ivy League institutions.  The Symposium provides a forum for interaction and debate between college students and professionals, and enables the industry’s leaders and most successful executives to share invaluable knowledge with their peers and potential successors.

“We are thrilled to be bringing the Ivy Sports Symposium to Harvard Law School, our fourth Ivy League campus and an internationally recognized hub for intellectual debate. Our flagship event continues to grow at a rapid pace and we eagerly anticipate the best Symposium yet,” said Executive Director of this year’s symposium, Alex Rosen. “What started as a small conference with a handful of panels is now a must-attend event that attracts both students and professionals from around the world. The lineup for this year's installment is top-notch and speaks to the respect the industry has for our student-run conference. By introducing the most timely topics in the industry, the eighth annual Symposium will provide a unique forum for interaction between the established leaders of today and the decision makers of tomorrow.”

Panel topics at the 2013 Ivy Sports Symposium will include Sports Marketing Success, Ticketing, Competitive Balance & Salary Cap, Entrepreneurship & Innovation, The Business of Amateurism, Future of Sports Television, In-Stadium Innovations, Issues in Athlete Representation, Sports & Social Impact, Digital Media, Crisis Management and College Athletics.

In addition, the event will include an awards ceremony for the 10 NEXT Class of 2013.  The 10 NEXT, an annual award honoring the future generation of sports industry leaders from around the world who will shape the business in the coming decades, is the product of a partnership between the Ivy Sports Symposium and SportsPro Media.
